TEAMVIRALS set “SIMPLIFY TO AMPLIFY” as the project’s core concept, centering on recyclable materials, adaptable design, modular construction, and sustainability. The structure of all fixtures within the store was designed using aluminum profiles that allow for easy assembly and disassembly. Unlike conventional retail fixtures that are often discarded during demolition, our goal was to create a circular system where these elements can be repurposed and reused in different locations.
매장을 구성하는 모든 집기의 구조는 분리·결합이 용이한 프로파일 자재를 적극 활용하여 구성했습니다. 이를 통해 일반 매장처럼 철거 시 폐기되는 집기가 아니라, 다른 매장에서도 재사용 가능한 순환 구조를 목표로 하였습니다.
The primary materials for the store’s fixtures are strictly limited to profiles, aluminum, cork, and glass to minimize waste and facilitate recycling, embodying ECCO’s eco-friendly philosophy and brand values through spatial materiality.
매장을 이루는 주요 집기 소재는 폐기물을 최소화하고 재활용이 용이한 프로파일, 알루미늄, 코르크, 유리로 제한하여, ECCO의 친환경 철학과 브랜드 가치를 공간의 물성으로 보여줍니다.
By using the inherent properties of the profiles, the fixtures are designed to be adaptable, with a modular system that allows for easy disassembly and expansion. Elements such as casters or cork blocks at the base make it simple to rearrange and reconfigure the layout as needed, giving the space greater flexibility in day-to-day operations.
프로파일의 물성을 활용하여 집기의 가변적 디자인과 분해∙확장이 가능한 조립 방식으로 구성됩니다. 하부의 캐스터나 코르크 블록 등을 활용하여 필요에 따라 배치를 변경하며 재구성할 수 있게 설계하여 운영의 유연성을 극대화합니다.
