“Poems on Fabric: Cherishing the Memories of the Everyday Life” An exhibition showcasing the philosophy and unique world of minä perhonen, a globally renowned lifestyle brand based in Tokyo, is being held at DDP. <Bird and Nest>는 제로웨이스트 작업 방식의 연장선에서 표현된 작업으로, 금속판의 기성 규격 내에서 낭비되는 소재를 최소화하도록 한 장의 금속판으로 총 한개의 라운지 체어와 아홉 쌍의 모빌과 오브제를 만들 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.
차가운 금속 소재에 따뜻한 패브릭이 만난 해당 작품은 반대되는 물성간의 대비를 통한 상호 보완적 아름다움을 전합니다.
<Bird and Nest> is an extension of zero-waste design principles, created with a focus on minimizing material waste. The piece is designed to produce one lounge chair and nine pairs of mobiles and art pieces from a single metal sheet. This work embodies the harmonious blend of cool metal and warm fabric, conveying complementary beauty through the contrast between opposing materials.
